Brette Petway is founder of the creative me, llc, in Boulder, Colorado, a company devoted to products and processes that stimulate, inspire, and honor each person’s innate need for creativity and expression. In addition to her entrepreneurial activities in education and ecology, Brette is a mother, an artist, and a certified massage therapist.

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Brette graduated from Wolfson High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Fitness and Nutrition from West Virginia Wesleyan University.

She began her career in Washington, DC, where she worked in the Department of Agriculture., She later moved back to Jacksonville, Florida, where she created and operated Heaven on Earth, a vegetarian restaurant, until 1995.

The next ten years were devoted to mothering her sons Avery and Ashton. Brette started the web-based enterprise www.onefourthree.com to showcase her artwork and expressions, especially those inspired by her own journaling—a discipline she took up after losing her sister to cancer. In 2006, she founded the creative me, llc, to help others experience a sense of spiritual well-being through ‘enter-active’™(interactive) journaling and artistic expression based upon her own healing experience.
